Classes

Beginner Level
Ages 3 to 8 years from preschool up to the 1st grade in school. These students take a combination class of Tap, Ballet and Acrobatics for a 45 minute period once a week. Mini Hip-Hop is an optional class offered to Kindergarten through 1st grade. Beginner students are introduced to dance and are given the opportunity to experience the joy of dancing as they prepare to enter the Intermediate level.
Dress code for Beginner Dancers:
- Black leotard and pink stockings.
- Tan tap shoes and pink ballet shoes.
- Mini Hip Hop dancers can wear shorts, joggers or leggings with sneakers.
- Hair should be neatly pulled up.
- The first lesson of each month is designated as free dress. Students are allowed to wear the leotard and stockings of their choice.
- It is very important that students follow the dress code. Dress codes make it possible for the instructors to see the dancers form in order to make corrections and to assure that a student is using her body properly. Wearing the same color allows a teacher to observe body lines from dancer to dancer.
- Please put the dancer's name on all dance shoes & bags.

Beg-Int Level
Ages 7 to 9 years and presently in the 2nd grade. These students have the option to take a Tap & Ballet combination class, Jazz class, and/or a Hip Hop class. All classes are 45 minutes for this level.Dress code for Beginner Intermediate Dancers:

Intermediate Level
Grades 3rd and 8th grade are Intermediate dancers. Intermediate students have a choice of taking one to six classes which include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Technique (Leaps & Turns). Each class is 50 minutes.Dress code for Intermediate Dancers:
- Ballet & Pointe Black Leotard and pink tights with ballet skirt or shorts. Pink ballet shoes. Please wait to purchase Pointe shoes until being evaluated with your Pointe Teacher.
- Tap Black Leotard with any color tights, shorts or leggings, with black tap shoes.
- Jazz Black Leotard with any color tights, shorts or leggings, with black or tan jazz shoes.
- Modern Black Leotard with any color tights, shorts or leggings with no shoes.
- Lyrical - Black Leotard with any color tights, shorts or leggings with tan lyrical half shoe
- Technique - Black Leotard with any color tights, shorts or leggings with jazz shoes or lyrical half shoes.
- Hip-Hop - Tank or t-shirt with leggings or joggers with sneakers.
General
